Week 2 - Day 11 (or 13 according to the yoga studio)

Day 13 - September 16, 2010

I left work a bit early so I can catch the 6pm class. As I was walking over to the studio, I was a block away, it started pouring rain. Turns out there was a tornado... Luckily I did not get that much rain on me. I got to the studio, found my spot and began my first class. One of the things I always look forward to with class is the super hotties. They are hot yoga men with super lean muscular bodies. A true delight to watch, and this often determines where I practice that class. After this class I did not feel amazing, but decided to push through the second class. I finally attempted the bending knee pose.

Yes... that did not work out so well for me... but there is always next time. Second class went much better, it was less crowded and the instructor was a female... for whatever reason this makes a difference to me. Her voice was soothing and I was able to find my center, my chi and my focus. I rushed to the showers after class... quick shower, I threw on my old college tshirt and walked out. As I entered the elevator one of the yoga hotties was in it. He started chatting me up. Asking how my class went. I revealed that I did a double. He was amazed... I told him I was amazed by his yoga abilities. I mean, truly the man is a yoga master... he does everything with poise and control. We spoke some more and after he found out that I did 4 classes in 2 days he strongly recommended that I take Friday off. I think he is right with this... I really need to give my body a break. He asked me which class I am taking on Saturday. To which I replied the 8am and 10am. He smiled wide and said he will do a double with me as well. Then he asked me if I would join him for brunch after class. Now it was my turn to smile wide... clearly I said yes.

  1. Oh waw, you must be gorgeouse and charismatic to get him to ask you out in the elevator. Thanks for the advice by the way. I've actually heard from another friend as well that its great for the skin. I'll try to see if there are some I can attend in my city. I'm so excited to be on this journey with someone else. Hopefully there will be more followers. I can see you are very determined and that inspires me really. So keep us posted. Ciao
