Day 10 - September 15, 2010
I woke up way late for the am class... 8:30am to be exact! I quickly made my morning coffee and then moved onto packing my clothes for the day. I realized that since boss is out of work I could do double yoga. I need to make up classes ... apparently, even though my first class was September 6th my membership started September 4th... meaning I gotta make up 2 extra days... completely unfair... I will be damned if I do not complete this challenge though... they do give you a t shirt for completion after all :)
So I ducked out of work early and headed into my first class. Once again, the class was packed, I was in the 3rd row, thus unable to see myself in the mirror. Thankfully, I will get priority for the second class. I pushed through the class... I felt good... but I felt like I was not performing up to par. It is amazing how much those mirrors help.
I had a half hour break and then it was time to take my second class. This time my mat was in the front of the classroom. Of course this class would be crowded as well. It seemed like the woman next to me and I would have plenty of space, then 3 minutes before a man comes in and decides to squeeze in the front row... dude if you want front row access then come to class early. To make matters worse I had someone behind me pull wayyy close to me. Last time this happened I was unable to do most of my stretching... not this time... dude, sorry but I will be in your space and if you dont like it then you may move back as you should!
Before the class even started my zen was out of the window. I laid down and took some time to meditate... It worked! During class I did amazing work. Now, I am not very flexible naturally ... so each and every time I try hard to improve that. This class I acomplished the impossible... I completed the perfect standing bow!
For those of you that are not familiar... this it what it looks like ... and yes it felt like I was touching something amazing... After class I was starving so I picked up a grilled chicken sandwich and some fries... fries are bad but that day all I had were 2 power bars, a lean cuisine and oatmeal... soo well deserved.
Hey NYC SB. I'm so glad you came up with this great idea and blog. You actually inspired me to do something for myself that I have put off for sometime that had discouraged me from following through with sugar dating and living my life fully. I have now started againg to post on my blog regularly and challenged myself for 90 days. My challenge is to be as attractive as I can be physically. An amazing femme fatal as I always wanted to be a great temptress. Please follow my blog as I will follow yours. Its the Journal of a brown sugar babe. Wish you best of luck with your challenge! http://athenasultan.blogspot.com/
